Paul DePasquale graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 1970 and was admitted to practice law in California in 1971. From 1979 to 1983, he served as the elected District Attorney of Lassen County, gaining extensive experience in prosecution. Afterward, he joined Cotkin, Collins, Kolts & Franscell in Los Angeles, where he specialized in the defense of law enforcement officers, particularly in cases involving the use of force. In the early 1990s, Paul co-founded DePasquale and Cole, further establishing himself as a formidable trial attorney. Over the years, he has represented clients in some of the most challenging and high-profile cases in Los Angeles, including the criminal prosecutions related to the Rodney King incident and the LAPD Rampart scandal. Paul’s depth of experience and commitment to justice make him a powerful advocate in both civil and criminal litigation.
